A lot of companies put selling first. That’s not how we work. We’re here to design the right kitchen — and we believe the quality of our work sells itself. So you get honesty, not sales tactics.

A world of materials
Silestone, Dekton, X-Tone, as an independent, there’s nothing we can’t get hold of.
Your
Team
They’re not here to sell you just any kitchen. They’re here to get it right.
Director
Shaun
Shaun started installing bathrooms at Splashing Out 15 years ago, before moving into the showroom and taking over the family business. He knows bathrooms inside out and has shaped a team culture that’s honest, down-to-earth, and built on taking real pride in a job well done.
Lead Designer
Hannah
With nearly 10 years in the kitchen industry and a First-Class degree in Interior Design, Hannah knows how to turn ideas into spaces that work beautifully day to day. Her mix of creativity and practical know-how means you get a kitchen that looks great, fits your lifestyle, and feels like part of your home.
Office Manager
Emma
Emma’s the mum of the business – keeping everything organised and everyone in line. She looks after the accounts, keeps suppliers up to date, and manages the installers’ calendars to make sure every job runs like clockwork.
Customer Care
Olivia
Olivia keeps our customers in the loop, updating them on progress and making sure everything runs smoothly. She’s a natural at making people feel reassured and looked after – and if you catch her in the showroom, she’s always got a funny travel story (or two) to share over a quick coffee.
Operations Manager
Chris
Chris set up Haus of Kitchens sister company Splashing Out Bathrooms over 40 years ago and has seen the full evolution of the company. Although he’s no longer knee deep in grout and silicone, he still plays a vital roll in both companies.
Concierge
Chester
Chester is in charge of meets and greet. His infectious happiness to see people is routed in his ulterior motives of belly rubs and biscuits.

 Your
questions
answered
Frequently asked questions answered by our director, Shaun.
How much are your kitchens?
Our kitchens typically start from £18,000, but the final cost depends on the size of the space, the materials chosen, and furniture. To get a clearer sense of what different budgets can achieve, take a look at the projects featured in our portfolio.
Do I need a design in mind?
Not at all. You don’t need to have anything figured out before getting in touch. Some clients come to us with detailed plans and moodboards, others with nothing more than the feeling that their current kitchen isn’t working. Either way, we’re here to help you explore ideas and show you what’s possible in your space.
Do we need an appointment
We do recommend booking ahead. It just means we can make sure a designer is available to walk you through everything and chat properly about your project—rather than you catching us between appointments. You’re welcome to pop in for a quick look, but if you’d like to chat about your project, it’s best to book.
What happens in our first appointment?
You’l have time to explore the showroom, see our kitchens up close, and get a feel for the quality and options available.
We’ll then have a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to get to know you and your space. We’ll chat about how you use your kitchen, what you’re looking for, and any ideas you have. If you’ve got plans or measurements, bring them – but don’t worry if you don’t.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based in Wakefield, with most of our work taking place across the whole of West and South Yorkshire but we do often go further afield. If you’re unsure if we cover your area, just get in touch.
Do you project manage everything?
Yes, we take care of the full process. We coordinate everything to make sure your project runs smoothly, so you don’t have to manage different trades yourself. We only take on a manageable number of projects at a time, so we’re never stretched too thin and can stay fully involved in each one.
Can you work with my architect / builder?
Yes, we regularly work alongside architects and builders. Whether you’re mid-renovation or just starting out, we’re happy to collaborate with the rest of your team to make sure everything comes together smoothly.
